This specimen was lot 3581 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,421 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM, Karl Theodor, 1777-1799. Dukat 1784, München. GOLD. Attraktives, fast vorzügliches Exemplar. (Electorate of Bavaria, Charles Theodore, 1777-99, ducat of 1784, Munich mint. Choice extremely fine.)"
The Elector of Bavaria issued this ducat 1778-93 but despite the many years of production it is rare.
