Künker sale 335, lot 3539

This specimen was lot 3539 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €60 (about US$79 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH: Maximilian III. Joseph, 1745-1777. Maximilian III. Joseph, 1745-1777. 12 Kreuzer 1752, München. Fast vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Bavaria, Maximilian III Joseph, 1745-77, twelve kreuzer of 1752, Munich mint. About extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1747-52 and 1763-65 and is common. A few more were struck at Amberg (KM 488.2).
