This specimen was lot 34190 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $399.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Basel. City 1/2 Taler 1757 MS63 NGC, KM 146, HMZ-2100i. Originally toned with sporadically placed moss-green, light blue, and light red colorful on both sides, some central strike incompleteness, but overall pleasing detail for the type. Currently the finest example of the date certified by NGC and as such, we expect competitive bidding. From the Redwood Collection, Part II." This specimen is not KM 146 (issued 1741) as stated above but KM 159 (large oval arms) or KM 160 (small oval arms, rare).
