This specimen was lot 3089 in Sincona sale 64 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 3,400 CHF (about US$4,260 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Basel | Stadt und Kanton, Dukat o. J. (nach 1700), Basel. Nach rechts gewandter Basilisk. Rv. Schrift in fünf Zeilen in einer reich verzierten Kartusche. Vorzüglich-FDC. (city and canton of Basel, undated ducat, Basel mint. Obverse: basilisk right; reverse: five line inscription in cartouche. Extremely fine-uncirculated.)"
This specimen realized nearly double the catalog value.
