This specimen was lot 4032 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$145 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Basel, Stadt und Kanton, Assis 1695, Basel. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Feine Patina. (Switzerland, canton of Basel, assis of 1695, Basel mint. Very Fine-Extremely Fine, Nicely toned.)"
This type was struck 1663, 1695 and 1697-98 and has a low catalog value. One thaler was forty assis.
