This specimen was lot 49371 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "SPAIN. Kingdom of Aragon. Obol, ND (1196-1213). Barcelona Mint. Pedro I. NGC MS-65. The only certified example on the NGC population report. From the Kyle Ponterio Collection." Peter was count of Barcelona and king of Aragon 1196-1213. His successor, Jaime I, ruled until 1276. Cayón says this coin was struck in Barcelona after 1212 along with a dinero. The obverse says "BARCINONA" and the reverse "PETR REX".
