This type was struck 1973-2006 for Barbados at Ottawa, Winnipeg, Franklin Mint and the British Royal Mint. This date was struck in Canada. The Franklin Mint struck collector sets until 1984; we don't see any proofs struck after that. The module matches the old British shilling.

Recorded mintage: 2,500,000.

Specification: 5.65 g, copper-nickel, 23.6 mm diameter, reeded edge.
