Baden 1894-G 2 mark
This specimen was lot 6149 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €420 (about US$585 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REICHSSILBERMÜNZEN, BADEN, Friedrich I. 1852-1907. 2 Mark 1894. Variante mit offenem "R" in REICH. R Vorzüglich. (Germany, grand duchy of Baden, Frederick I, 1852-1907, two mark of 1894. Rare, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1892-1902 and, while more available than the previous KM 265, is quite a bit scarcer than subsequent types (KM 271 and KM 272). The silver two mark replaced the old gulden (10.58 g, 0.900 fine) last struck in 1867 prior to unification.
