This specimen was lot 2500 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "BADEN: Leopold I, 1830-1852, AE kreuzer, 18[70], a superb lustrous example! NGC graded MS65 BN." This kreuzer was struck in large quantities 1859-71 and is common. The mint also struck several commemorative kreuzer for the victory over France in 1871 (KM 254/255/256). One gulden was sixty kreuzer.
