Künker Auction 441, lot 4060

This specimen was lot 4060 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,400 (about US$1,926 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BADEN-DURLACH, MARKGRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1803 KURFÜRSTENTUM, SEIT 1806 GROSSHERZOGTUM Friedrich I., 1852-1856-1907. Vereinstaler 1858. Mit vierblättriger Rosette in der Randschrift. Prachtexemplar. Herrliche Patina, Stempelglanz. Aus der Sammlung Jürgen und Erika Schmidt, Bovenden. Exemplar der Slg. Ernst Otto Horn, Teil 2, Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 258, Berlin 2015, Nr. 11. (grand duchy of Baden, Frederick I, 1856-1907, union thaler of 1858, with four-petalled rosette in the edge lettering. Choice example, superb patina, uncirculated.)"
