This specimen was lot 20947 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), where it sold for $2,242.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Baden. Leopold Taler 1834, MS65 NGC, aged silvery-gray and gold patina over fully original lustrous surfaces, a most impressive example of this commemorative struck for the future success of the Baden mines." The type was accompanied by a regular issue of 29.48 g (Dav-519).
