This specimen was lot 3360 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "BADEN-BADEN: Wilhelm, 1622-1677, AR albus, 1637, somewhat ragged clip at 9:00, nice iridescent tone, EF, S." Craig notes that the albus was worth 1/32 thaler or two kreuzer in the early seventeenth century. This type is listed for 1625 and 1636-37. Baden-Baden fell extinct in 1771 and was taken over by Baden-Durlach.
