Sincona sale 54, lot 1094

This specimen was lot 1094 in Sincona sale 54 (Zürich, May 2019), where it sold for 1,600 CHF (about US$1,904 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Franz Joseph I. 1848-1916. 20 Kronen 1909, Wien. Marschall. Vorzüglich. (empire of Austria, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, Extremely fine.)"

This one year type varies from the later Fr-509 by having the engraver's signature omitted and obverse legend interrupted at the bottom.

Recorded mintage: 227,754 (including Fr-509).

Specification: 6.78 g, 0.900 fine gold, this specimen 6.77 g.
