This specimen was lot 3231 in Sincona sale 20 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 40 (about US$50 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "5 Kronen 1908. 60. Regierungsjubiläum. Gutes vorzüglich. (choice extremely fine.)" The Austrian government issued this commemorative for the 60th anniversary of Francis Joseph's reign. It is nearly the last silver crown issued before Austria's suicidal plunge into World War One.
