This specimen was lot 3347 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$603 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Franz Joseph I. 1848-1916. Dukat 1863 A, Wien. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Kleine Kratzer. (empire of Austria, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, ducat of 1863, Vienna mint. Very Fine-Extremely Fine, Small scratches.)"
This type was struck 1860-65 only but is common. Gold ducats were struck throughout Franz Josef's long reign and come in many types. This date is known from Vienna, Kremnitz, Venice and Karlsburg.
