Sincona sale 90, lot 1624

This specimen was lot 1624 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 760 CHF (about US$1,020 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Franz II. (I.), 1792-1835. Dukat 1834 B, Kremnitz. Gutes sehr schön. Kleine Kratzer. (empire of Austria, Francis I, 1792-1835, ducat of 1834, Kremnitz mint. Good very fine, Small scratches.)"

This type was struck 1831-35 at Vienna ("A"), Kremnitz (shown here) and Karlsburg ("E"). The SCWC prices them all the same, with a slight premium for the Karlsburg issue.
