This specimen was lot 350 in Stack's Coin Galleries sale (New York, October 2010), where it sold for $431.25. The catalog description[1] noted,

"AUSTRIA. Karl VI, 1711-1740. Taler, 1716. Armored and draped laureate bust r. Rv. Crowned double headed eagle holding scepter and sword. Arms within garter on breast. Pleasing old cabinet toning. About Uncirculated."

This type was struck 1714-18 and is fairly common. Similar types were issued by Vienna, Breslau and St. Veit.

Recorded mintage: 119,000.
