This specimen was lot 320 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $969.38. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Taler, 1683. Hall Mint. Leopold I (1665-87). NGC MS-64. Nice strike. Full detail, although some softness at 12 o'clock on obverse due to irregularity of planchet thickness. Attractive even toning with underlying luster. From the Rockaway Collection." This type was struck 1679-83 and 1686 and is common.
