This specimen was lot 71553 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2023), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. 3 Kreuzer, 1681. Hall Mint. Leopold I. PCGS MS-63. A shimmering and exceptional Choice piece, this most wholesome specimen displays a sharp luster and handsome details throughout." Other three kreuzer struck for the Hapsburgs in 1681 include KM 1115 (Graz) and KM 1116 (St. Veit). This type was struck 1667-90 and is common.
