This specimen was lot 3075 in Künker Auction 426 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €525 (about US$744 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Matthias, 1608-1612-1619. Reichstaler 1615, Wien. RR Kl. Henkelspur, sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Matthias, 1612-19, thaler of 1615, Vienna mint. Very rare, small mount mark, very fine.)"
Austrian thalers for 1615 include KM 188.3/Dav-3321 (Hall mint), KM 188.4/Dav-3321A, KM 188.5/Dav-3321B, KM 196/Dav-3044 (shown here) and KM 24/Dav-3314 (Klagenfurt mint), KM 279.1/Dav-3326 (Ensisheim mint). This type of 1615-16 is somewhat scarce.
