This specimen was lot 2251 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,789 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Ferdinand I., 1522-1558-1564. Dukat 1564, Wien. 3,45 g Mit FER · D · G · RO · IM · S · A - V - G : GER · HV · B : RE - X auf der Vorderseite und · S · LADISLAVS · H · REX · I564 · auf der Rückseite. Fr-36; Markl 21 var.; M. z. A. S. 47. GOLD. RR Knickspur, fast vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung Kommerzialrat Dr. Herbert Wenzel, Wien. Exemplar der Auktion Adolph Hess 250, Luzern 1979, Nr. 759. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand I, 1522-64, ducat of 1564, Vienna mint. Very rare, crease, about extremely fine.)"
The SCWC lists this for 1563-64. It varies from the prior KM MB379 in adding a crown above the shield, causing the date to be moved to the rim.
