Künker Auction 439, lot 2249

This specimen was lot 2249 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €6,000 (about US$8,254 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Ferdinand I., 1522-1558-1564. Dukat 1554, Wien. GOLD. RR Vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung Kommerzialrat Dr. Herbert Wenzel, Wien. Exemplar der Auktion Dorotheum Kunstabteilung 191, Wien, April 1956, Nr. 267. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand I, 1522-64, ducat of 1554, Vienna mint. Very rare, extremely fine.)"

The SCWC lists this for 1534, 1538, 1543-54 but other dates likely exist.
