This specimen was lot 1103 in Goldberg sale 128 (Los Angeles, June 2022), where it sold for $228. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. 10 Dollar, 2017-C. Trans-Australian Railway. PCGS graded Proof 69 Deep Cameo." This NCLT marked the centennial of the completion of the Trans-Australian Railway in 1917, which linked Perth to Adelaide. This design was also used on a circulating aluminum bronze dollar (KM 2743) and a silver dollar (KM 2750). This denomination was usually used for large siver NCLT's.

Recorded mintage: 1,000 proofs.

Specification: 3.11 g, 0.999 fine gold, 17.5 mm diameter, 0.100 troy ounce AGW.
