This specimen was lot 42263 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. 20 Dollars, 2001. PCGS PROOF-70 DEEP CAMEO. Gold and Silver Bimetallic issue. Commemorates Sir Donald Bradman, a famous Australian cricketer who is widely thought of as the greatest batsman of all time." This bimetallic NCLT was accompanied by a silver five dollars (KM 761) and an aluminum bronze five dollars (KM 762). Brandman was featured on other Australian commemoratives before and after this issue.
Recorded mintage: 8,569 proofs (7,155 per McDonald[2]).
