This specimen was lot 20154 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. Sovereign, 1907-P. PCGS MS-63+ Secure Holder. Alluring quality for the date with smooth, satiny texture in the fields and comparatively few marks over the surfaces. Ideal for the high end set collector by date with this coin being tied with one other example for the finest graded at PCGS." This date, from a type struck 1902-10 at Perth (shown here), Melbourne and Sydney, is common.
