This specimen was lot 2317 in Goldberg sale 98 (Los Angeles, June 2017), where it sold for $376. The catalog description[1] noted, "Australia. Sovereign, 1906-M. Edward VII. NGC graded MS-63. WINGS." This date, from a type struck 1902-10 at Perth, Melbourne (shown here) and Sydney, is common.
Recorded mintage: 3,657,000, a common date.
