This specimen was lot 1325 in Goldberg Sale 146 (Los Angeles, July 2025), where it sold for $48. The catalog description[1] noted, "German States: Augsburg. Silvered Copper Heller, 1786. No star below arms variety. Pop 1; 6 Finer at PCGS. PCGS graded MS-62. The Augustana Collection." This type was struck 1780, 1782, 1786, 1788, 1793, 1796-98, 1801. It has a low catalog value. Silver patterns or off-metal strikes (KM Pn63) exist for this date and some have rosettes bracketing the date. One thaler was 960 heller. Augsburg escaped the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss of 1803 but was annexed to Bavaria in 1806, ending its coinage.
