This specimen was lot 6003 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $517. The catalog description[1] noted, "ARGENTINA. 2 Reales, 1813-J. NGC AU-55. SCARCE first year of issue. Nicely struck with attractive luster." This type was also struck 1815; both dates are scarce compared to KM 18 (1824-26).
