This specimen was lot 32426 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic gold 2 Dinars AH 1411 (1991) MS68 PCGS. A shimmering golden offering free of even moderately noticeable imperfections. Currently tied for finest graded." This coin commemorates an old dinar of the early Moslem conquest of Algeria. This NCLT is rare and accompanied a gold dinar (KM 120) and five dinars (KM 122).
