This specimen was lot 4194 in Stack's-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "PERU. North Peru. 8 Reales, 1839-MB. NGC EF Details--Repaired. There is a minor disturbance in the field near the rim at 11 o'clock. VERY RARE one year type that has attractive grey toning with golden, azure and red hues. Ex: R.L. Lissner Collection."
