This specimen was lot 1032 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEWFOUNDLAND: Victoria, 1837-1901, AE cent, 1873, beautiful orange patina with ample luster, PCGS graded MS64 RB." This type was struck intermittently at London and Heaton 1865-96. The last Heaton issue was in 1876.
Recorded mintage: 200,000 plus proofs.
