This specimen was lot 2342 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €3,600 (about US$4,953 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"KAISERREICH ÖSTERREICH, Franz Joseph I., 1848-1916. 4 Dukaten 1896, Wien. 13,76 g Feingold. GOLD. Kl. Druckstelle, vorzüglich. (empire of Austria, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, quadruple ducat of 1896, Vienna mint. Small dent, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1872-1915 in substantial numbers but the 1915 restrike is most commonly seen.

Specification: 13.96 g, 0.986 fine gold, 40 mm diameter, reeded edge.
