This specimen was lot 2090 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 1,400 CHF (about US$2,031 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Franz Joseph I. 1848-1916. 4 Dukaten 1894, Wien. Gutes sehr schön. Kleine Kratzer und Randfehler. (empire of Austria, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, quadruple ducat of 1894, Vienna mint. Good Very Fine, Small scratches and edge flaw.)"
This type was struck 1872-1915 in substantial numbers but the 1915 restrike is most commonly seen.
