Sincona sale 102, lot 5095

This specimen was lot 5095 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 325 CHF (about US$490 including buyers' fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Bern, Stadt und Kanton, 10 Kreuzer 1658, Bern. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion SINCONA 30, Zürich, Mai 2016, Los 3569. (Switzerland, city and canton of Bern, ten kreuzer of 1658, Bern mint. Rare in this condition, Extremely Fine.)"

This type was struck 1656-59 along with a twenty kreuzer.

Recorded mintage: unknown but somewhat scarce.

Specification: 2.14 g, silver, 23 mm diameter, this specimen 2.27 g.
