Sincona sale 101, lot 3199

This specimen was lot 3199 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Ferdinand II. 1619-1637. 2 Dukaten 1634, Wien. Selten. Sehr schön. Starke Henkelspur. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1619-37, double ducat of 1634, Vienna mint. Rare, Very Fine, Heavy mount mark.)"

This type was struck 1620-35, during the first half of the Thirty Years War. It is not listed as rare but this is the first of this type we have posted.
