This specimen was lot 1579 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 12,000 CHF (about US$15,857 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Ferdinand II. 1619-1637. 2 Dukaten 1634, Prag. Münzmeister Tobias Schuster Sehr selten. NGC AU55. Das durch NGC höchstbewertete Exemplar. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1619-37, double ducat of 1634, Prague mint. Very rare, Finest certified by NGC.)"
This type is listed for 1623-24, 1627-37 and all dates are expensive. Albrecht Wallenstein also issued double ducats in 1634 (KM 63).
