This type was struck 1979-82. The colloctor versions were made at the Franklin mint while the circulation issue was struck in Manila. The bust of Melchora Aquino was struck in aluminum (KM 239) 1983-92 and then retired. The denomination is still struck but is essentially worthless.

Recorded mintage: unknown number struck in Manila plus proofs struck at the Franklin mint.
