Eichstatt 1755-MNL 20 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 5758 in Künker Auction 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,183 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"EICHSTÄTT, BISTUM, Johann Anton II. von Freyberg, 1736-1757. 20 Kreuzer (1/6 Taler) 1755, Nürnberg. R Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, bishopric of Eichstatt, Johann Anton II of Freyberg, 1736-57. Twenty kreuzer (sixth thaler) of 1755, Nuremberg mint. Rare, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
The bishopric of Eichstatt, now in Bavaria, occasionally issued coins.
