Eichstatt 1755-MNL 20 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 5758 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,183 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"EICHSTÄTT, BISTUM, Johann Anton II. von Freyberg, 1736-1757. 20 Kreuzer (1/6 Taler) 1755, Nürnberg. R Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, bishopric of Eichstatt, John Anthony of Freyberg, 1736-57, twenty kreuzer of 1755, Nurnberg mint. Rare, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
The bishopric of Eichstatt, now in Bavaria, occasionally issued coins. This one year type was accompanied by KM 69 (10 kreuzer), KM 71 (30 kreuzer), KM 72 (½ thaler) and KM 73 (thaler).
