This specimen was lot 802 in Stack's sale (New York, April 2010). The catalog description[1] noted, "GREENLAND. Greenland Administration. Roll of 50 Øre, 1926 HCN GJ. Crowned Danish Arms of three lions, nine hearts, GRØNLANDS STYRELSE. Rv. Polar bear walking l., date 19.G.S.26. Aluminum-bronze coins with attractive golden lustre. No die varieties have been found for this denomination. Choice to Gem Brilliant Uncirculated." This one year type is not difficult to find except in choice condition. The SCWC notes that all Greenlander coins were withdrawn in 1967 and replaced with Danish coins.
