Luzern 1600 schilling
This specimen was lot 4268 in Sincona sale 73 (Zürich, November 2021), where it sold for 160 CHF (about US$206 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Lucerne | Stadt und Kanton. Schilling 1600, Luzern. Mindere Jahreszahl 6 - 00 seitlich des kleinen Luzernerwappens. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Flaue Stellen. (Switzerland, canton of Luzern, schilling of 1600, Luzern mint, with the Luzern arms dividing the date. Very fine-extremely fine, Some weakly struck areas.)"
This type is listed in the SCWC for 1601-05; the 1600 is not shown. Forty schillinge made a gulden and three gulden made a thaler.
