This specimen was lot 1911 in Goldberg sale 93 (Los Angeles, September 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italy. 20 Lire, 1891-R NGC MS63 NGC MS63. Umberto I. NGC graded MS-63." This date is one of a series struck 1879-97 at the Rome mint during the reign of Umberto of Italy. It is struck to the same standard as the contemporary French twenty francs d'or and is common.
