This specimen was part of lot 22620 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), which sold for $431.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mixed Lot of Thirteen Coins. We have here a very useful grouping of coins from German East Africa as well as coins from Bavaria, Bremen, Hessen, Trier, and more. Grades range from Fine to UNC." This denomination was struck in the archbishopric of Trier in 1703-15 and 1760-62. Like many obscure German minors, it is likely undervalued.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: billon.

Catalog reference: KM 205.
