This specimen was lot 849 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "BREMEN: Free City, AR 1/2 thaler, 1643, TI=Thomas Eisenbein mintmaster, once lightly cleaned and re-toned, VF, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This is a rare type altho this example realized only two-fifths of the catalog value. Frederick III of Denmark, Lutheran archbishop of Bremen, also struck coins in 1643.
