This specimen was lot 1529 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: AV 50 kurush, 1968, NGC graded MS64." This monnaie de luxe was struck 1942-2021 for use in jewelry. It is wider and thinner than the fifty kurush struck for bullion. It is not known circulated.

Recorded mintage: 82,000.

Specification: 3.51 g, 0.917 fine gold.
