This type was struck 1860-62 in Santiago, Chile. It is slightly reduced in weight from the décimo of 1851-60 (KM 124), which was 2.5 g. The half décimo and twenty centavos were similarly shrunk. Later, more common décimos (minted 1864-94) used the perched condor design also seen on the one peso.

Recorded mintage: 236,000.

Specification: 2.3 g, 0.900 fine silver, 18 mm diameter.
