This specimen was lot 31786 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $258.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Adolf Frederick 5 Ore 1763-AL, MS62 NGC. Nice original surfaces with mint luster, scarce type in mint state. Ex: 'Colonel' E.H.R. Green; Green Estate' Partnership of Eric P Newman/B.G. Johnson." This denomination was issued extensively through the eighteenth century until 1767 along with a billon ten öre. This type is noted for 1751-67.
