This specimen is one of a type issued 1992-2009 as part of the reform of the Mexican peso. It was replaced by a reduced weight version (KM 934) for 2009-19. When it was introduced, one dollar was about three pesos; today (December 2024), US$1 = 20.6 pesos.

Recorded mintage: 618,061,000.

Specification: 2.08 g, stainless steel, 17 mm diameter, plain edge.
