This specimen was lot 5282 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €550 (about US$766 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"AACHEN, STADT, 1/2 Reichstaler 1570, mit Titel Maximilians II. RR Schrötlingsfehler, sehr schön. Exemplar der Auktion Münzzentrum Rheinland 181, Köln 2017, Nr. 3080. (Germany, city of Aachen, half thaler of 1570, struck in the name of Maximilian II. Very rare, die cracks, very fine.)"
This type, struck 1568-71, is unpriced in the SCWC.
