This specimen was lot 1536 in Jean Elsen sale 149 (Brussels, December 2021), where it sold for €190 (about US$257 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XIV (1643-1715), AR écu aux huit L, 1691P, Dijon. 1er type. 1e réformation. D/ B. dr. à d. R/ Croix formée de huit L couronnés, cantonnés de quatre lis. Réformé sur un écu au buste juvénile de 1665. Très Beau. (kingdom of France, Louis XIV, 1643-1715, silver écu of the eight "L's" of 1691, Dijon mint, first type, first reformation. Obverse: draped bust right; reverse: cross formed of eight crowned "L's", cantonned with four lilies. Struck over an écu of the juvenile bust of 1665. Very Fine.)"
